Commenting code is simple enough but a quick way to comment out a block of code in the Flexbuilder UI is to highlight the code you wish to comment and hit Ctrl + Shft + C highlight the commented block and hit Ctrl + Shft + C again to uncomment.

A single line comment is as easy as hitting / twice to get // but there’s a not so short cut for this too, hit ctrl + /
