It’s a possible over reaction but today is the day that the boffins over at CERN turn on their huge particle accelerator.  The simpletons view is that we could either have an amazing discovery through this experiment or we could end the world by creating a black hole.

I ran a straw pole this week to see what theme tune should sound when they hit the red button (there’s always a red button, I seen it in the movies) and get this baby running.  The choices were great:

The guitar sound from Back to the future when Marty turns the amp up on full.
The Stargate theme tune (you see what I did there?)

There were some others that I forgot so I’ll add them on when I remember.
