WaveSecure, if you don’t already know, is a fantastic service used to secure your phone and hopefully track and recover it in the event it gets lost or stolen.
Earlier this year Android users were able to get a free lifetime subscription to the service (for the life of the phone used to subscribe), it is now available at a pretty reasonable price:feature ratio on Android and pretty much every other mobile OS other than the obvious Apple OS ;0) wavesecure.com is the place to go for all the gritty details.
The bad news is that McAfee, that well know purveyor of bloated, inefficient security software has just bought WaveSecure. With luck, they won’t do anything other than add their name to the product, unfortunately, in the wide world of software aquisitions, (and I’ve been on the crappy end of those on more than one occasion), the purchaser believes their way is far better then the way of the purchasee (regardless of past success and thus the very reason for purchasing in the first place) and embarks on a total clusterfuck of an integration that robs the said purchasee of all that was good about their product.
Fingers crossed though eh?

Hi Shaun,
I have noticed that you wrote a nice post about last year’s Compare the Meerkat video.
I was wondering if you would be interested in working with us for the new campaign?
Please let me know
Thanks
M.
