'Rose Abstract' by SDN-Photography
Outside of my day job as a software developer, my life pretty much revolves around photography. I took up photography back in the early 90′s but never really got serious about it until early 2000. It was then that I got hold of my first ‘serious’ film based camera and shortly after that my first digtal camera which really opened the door for me.
Having previously worked in graphic design for a while i was no stranger to Photoshop and so the realms of digital photography were particularly interesting to me. Many years down the road and I have learned many lessons, been inspired by many books and websights as well as the many people I follow on Twitter.
My photography has improved over the years and I’ve placed a fair selection of my shots up on Flickr for all to see. If you can spare the time to check out my shots and maybe leave a comment or two it would be fantastic to get your views. I also have my own photography website displaying the same images in a slightly different layout.
Although each of my shots is taken from my eye view – what I saw when I saw it – I always strive to leave enough room for the viewer of the image to see their own version of the shot, to let it speak to you in whatever way it can.
